Anyone watch it?
I thought it was good and funny, especially in the second half. And it's got "Jayne" in it, and he gets to be sarcastic!

I had to tape it and watch HIMYM with the hubby, and then we watched Big Bang Theory.

Mousehouse and I got to watch Chuck last night -- we taped Torchwood at 11pm and watched it this afternoon -- and we really liked it. I hope NBC keeps up this schedule of showing Chuck on Saturdays as well as Mondays.

I missed Chuck the first time, but then they showed the pilot on Bravo and I was able to see it there. Then I caught the second ep and caught up. I LOVE IT! Chuck is so adorable!

Just watched this week's episode. I really like this show, and I wish it didn't go up against How I Met Your Mother. I'm glad NBC is re-showing it occasionally on Saturdays, but I wish they'd do it every week. I need to remember to look and see if they're showing every week's episode on Bravo; I didn't know about that at all until I read it here.

Less than 2 hours until the next episode of Captain Awesome and the rest of the crew. Until we get the DVR, we may force Caseadilla to watch Chuck so we can record it on her VCR, while we watch HIMYM and Big Bang Theory on our TV. That's really the only good reason to have kids, right?

Make sure you get a dual tuner DVR receiver. We've had Dish Network for years, but we don't have a DVR yet ... we just ordered one this week as an upgrade. Ratboy told us to be sure and get the dual tuner model so that we can watch one show while recording another at the same time.
Another option is to watch HIMYM and Big Bang online.

Thanks for the tip. Our Dish Network guy is coming on Thursday, the husband will be meeting him, so I am writing a reminder note right now, he's pretty sure it said that it allows you to record one channel while watching another. I was hesistant to get rid of traditional cable, and we are giving up one channel that the littlest one loves, Sprout, but there are other things for her.....like cleaning up her toys while we watch all our shows....

I'm really loving this show! I missed Captain Awesome from tonight's episode, however.

Captain Awesome was back last night ... wearing nothing but a strategically place fig leaf! (He and Ellie were Adam and Eve for Halloween, but Ellie's costume wasn't nearly as ... revealing).
Clip
But the best part of last night's show was when Jayne, I mean Major Casey, said, in speaking of a brilliant scientist gone mad, "What's he going to do, kill me with his mind?" (Or something like that, I'm not sure of the exact quote). This, of course, references River Tam's warning to Major Casey, I mean Jayne: "I can kill you with my brain."
