Was watching a rerun of "Bones" -- an episode I had missed when it originally aired -- and discovered that Gina Torres' show, "Standoff," was coming on after. It was advertised as a "new night and time."
Honestly, I hadn't seen anything about the show since the first few weeks of the fall, and had just assumed it had been cancelled. But at the end of tonight's episode, it said it would be back next Friday at 8 (central). So apparently "Standoff" is still alive and kicking. Interesting, if they keep this schedule, we'll have "Angel" and "Zoe" on back to back.

Was watching the first few minutes of the new TNT series "Heartland" last night when mousehouse said, "Isn't that Inara?" Sure enough, Morena Baccarin plays a nurse. We didn't watch the entire show because we're old and set in our ways.

We didn't watch the entire show because we're old and set in our ways. I had heard she was in a new series (which didn't get very good reviews), but I couldn't remember the name of it. She is currently also on Stargate SG-1 as a baddie.

Nathan Fillion may be moving to Wisteria Lane according to THIS article. Fillion could be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives this fall as the much younger husband of Dana Delany.

I love Dana Delany! I've never watched Desperate Housewives, but I have a shepherd friend who is a real fan. I might have to start watching if Delany and Fillion join up.

I just saw the Delaney thing, didn't realize he'd be much younger than her? Now if he's joining, I'll be sorry that I stopped watching DH this year, though I'm sure it'll be easy to catch up on.

If they are playing their actual ages, she is 15 years his senior (at least according to IMDB)

WOW! She is absolutely gorgeous and 50...not that those things are mutually exclusive! Loved watching China Beach forgot how long ago that was, going to add it to Netflix.
Also forget that NF is younger than I think he is.....
Numbers don't matter anyway, except on Wisteria Lane.
So are they gonna be like Demi and whatshisface?

Ha! In other alum news, James Marsters is going to guest star on one of my favorite British shows, the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood. According to TW's hunky Captain Jack Harkness, John Barrowman, JM's role may surprise some- "I can't tell you very much, but he guest stars. And there’s a scene between he and Jack when they first meet, all I’ll say is, this scene is so hot, so horny, so violent, that all the fans who watch it are going to [er, appreciate it greatly]."
