What are your reading plans for July 21st when the book comes out?
I don't bother with the midnight parties because I don't like the crowds and by the time I get home it's torture to have the book but be too tired to read it coherently. I think I'll do what I did for the last book. First thing when I get up Saturday morning, I head to the nearest place selling the book at a good price that isn't a big store. Last time it was Ralph's grocery store. It was the same price as it was at Barnes & Noble, but there were only 3 people in the place.
I made sure to not schedule myself for work on Saturday or Sunday so I have the whole time free to read. I think I might even avoid the net for the weekend because if someone ruins the end for me, I will be royally pissed. This is the last time I'm ever going to be able to read a brand new Harry Potter story, and I am going to get the most out of it.

I plan to get it the morning of its release and read some of it that day. Probably will take me a few days to get through it. Not just because I have life stuff to do, but I also want to savor it a little since it's the last.

Just like 2 years ago, I'll be in Dallas taking classes at SMU when the book comes out. Hopefully I'll be able to do just what I did 2 years ago: buy the book at Borders and have it read in less than a week, schoolwork be damned! Well, maybe not damned, since it's a seminary, but you know what I mean.
