With Season Three's finale rapidly approaching, it seems that the last few episodes are going to be quite memorable.

I was just watching Profit yesterday. If you do not know of Jim Profit (8 episode-brillant but canceled) run out and get it. Now.
Anyway the guy from Lost that is in all of the videos, Mr. Kandle or whichever name, the namaste guy, he was in an ep of Profit. It was funny to see him. I backwards recognized him!
Anyway also maybe needs it's own thread, but I saw an add for a scifi miniseries in August, to be on one of the networks, it looks like a collection of stories, and I cannot remember all of the actors. But they did promote Terry O Quinn and I think I saw Sam Watterson too. So when I catch the name and network I'll start a thread. Thinking ABC cause they promoted him being from LOST

I'm rewatching the season, even though it's not back until Jan. I should have started rewatching BSG first.
Anyway, I had forgotten how soon they mention Jacob. And the first time they do, one of the other others, don't know his name, says,"Sheppard wasn't even on Jacob's list." Meaning they took him just to fix Ben's tumor. Then later, Kate is asking Mikail to explain something, and he says it would be beyond her understanding. She says to try her, and he says, "what I mean is that you are not one of the Chosen Ones." But wasn't she on Jacob's list. Or was Sawyer the only one they wanted? Jack was for the tumor and Kate was to get Sawyer and/or Jack to cooperate?
Also there was news today about a cast member, but it's spoilerish so I won't post it....not too spoilerish too...if you look around you can find it..cough cough ...cnn.com....cough.
But I prefer to really stay spoiler free if I can, I stumbled upon it.

Lost will be back Jan 31, 9 pm. It will air for 8 consecutive weeks, but when the rest of the season will air depends on the WGA strike. I'm off to see if I can scrape up the $$$ for season 3 DVD.

With the (apparent) end of the writer's strike in sight. The folks at Lostpedia speculate that about 4-6 more episodes of Lost could be made depending on ABC's willingness to extend the season. Here's hoping! I wonder how much/when/what we'll get in regards to other shows

Just read that Cuse, producer guy, says that they will try to get us 5 more eps of Lost. Meaning...there was 16 planned originally. We had 8 ready before the strike, so they will make 5 more and cut the story down so they can through what they intended to get through this season. I was hoping we'd get the whole 16, I want every last Lost second we can get from them

Ok. Still don't have time to discuss recent eps. But, just to update the episode number for this season. We have seen 5 of the 8 made before the strike. We will be getting 5 more this season and TPTB say that we will get the extra 3 hours put into the next two seasons. They have adjusted some stories to compensate. That said there will be a gap in this season, the next three eps are consecutive, airing 3/6, 3/13, 3/20 and then that last 5 starting 4/24. So there will a 4 week gap, unless things change.

I'm pretty much ready for the end of LOST. I watch now only because I'm so invested. The show has changed so much from the first season that it's barely the same show. At this point, I just don't think that they are going to be able to tie things up in a way that's going to satisfy me.
