It's already written and shooting right? I've been hearing that a lot of movies were rushed to start shooting because of this impending writer's strike.

I was just watching Fight the Future last night on HBO. Wow I miss Mulder and Scully, I have to watch some DVDs of the show again.
Do you own the entire series?

Sadly, no, but if Santa Rat wants to rectify that ...
I have the first 100 episodes on VHS, plus scattered other episodes on VHS, and I have Fight the Future on both VHS and DVD.

It was hard for me to keep with X Files, working and forgetting to tape/watch eps, I bet there are over 100 eps I've never seen. I use Netflix to catch up or dive back into many shows that I missed out on or never kept up with, so I'm thinking of going to season 6 and see how far I can get before the next movie arrives.

There's an X-Files marathon on Sci-Fi today. Unfortunately, all except the last episode are post-Mulder eps.
However, the final episode of the marathon, at 3pm Central Time, is Jose Chung's "From Outer Space". This is one of the cleverest episodes, featuring Charles Nelson Reilly as Jose Chung, as well as Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Alex Trebek as predecessors of Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. Must see TV!

Just watched the X-Files movie ... I suppose I could post this under "What Movie Did You Just Watch," but since we have our own X-Thread I thought I'd post here.
As I pretty much expected, it's not great -- good, but not great. The plot was a little too convoluted and the subplots were difficult to follow. It was fun to see Mulder & Scully together again, however, and the ending was satisfying. If you care to sit through the credits, there's a cute little scene at the very end.
I loved the fact that A. D. Skinner made an appearance, althought it was far too brief. When Skinner first appeared on the screen, I said (out loud) "Cool!" A few minutes later, in the movie, when Mulder sees Skinner for the first time, Mulder says, "Cool!"
