OK. My bad.... sort of! That last comment was actually posted by me, but Honey Bunny didn't log out after he got finished so I accidently posted as him.

Today I watched Black Snake Moan (odd but good), Resident Evil: Extinction (fun zombie flick), & Speedway Junky (ok, but not great).

Derailed with Clive Owen and Jen Aniston.
Uh, It had the potential to be a great flick but somehow fell flat.

Watched Underworld and The Fifth Element on TV. Don't ask me why I watched them on TV all edited and full of commercials when I own the DVDs. I have no good answer.

PS I love you~ very good, tear jerker. The movie was 2 hours long and I bet I cried for 1:45. Plus Gerry Butler= yummy.

Enjoying my new 32" LCD HDTV and surround sound. Watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jurassic Park III. They looked incredible.

Across the Universe- A love story set against a background of 60's politics and the music of the Beatles. Loved it... for about 30 minutes.

The Invasion- boring, preachy remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider- cheesy, but I like it. Coincidentally, both movies starred Daniel Craig. Not sure which I preferred him in. In The Invasion he has his sexy British accent. In Tomb Raider he has a horrible American accent but he does show a nice bit of skin.

I forgot that was Craig in Tomb Raider. I liked him as Bond...gotta see that again! I just watched Bridge to Teribithia Husband and I were shocked! The girl dies. That was upsetting. I didn't know anything about the book and backstory of the author. THough I do not like being spoiled, I try to be careful about what the kids watch with us.

Jumper- I saw it last night. I was really psyched to see it. However, I was quite disappointed.
Cool idea, poor implementation. Great special effects, but I found the story lacking. The huge acting talents of Hayden Christensen didn't help things much (That's sarcasm, btw).
Hated Rachel Bilson's character. For a supposedly smart girl, she made some awfully stupid decisions.
I didn't buy Samuel L. Jackson's character either. I kept half expecting him to say "I have had it with these motherf'ing jumpers jumping all over the motherf'ing place!"
Diane Lane was completely wasted. She was in it for like a whole five seconds. There was no reason to even have her character in the movie other than to open the story up for a possible sequel.
I did like Jamie Bell (though I wish he would have toned down his accent at times).
I'd say it was worth watching once... after it comes out on DVD... and hits the bargain bin.
